Super Mario Run Released Early

As if you didn't know already, somehow today you can find and download Super Mario Run on Android devices, of course you can get the full game for ten US Dollars, but downloading and playing the free levels doesn't cost anything. The game was set to be out on the 23rd (as stated in our last article). Go Get it now

Mario News Recap. Mar10 Day cheering up kids, Mario Run coming to Andriod in 3 Days

Hey Fellow Mario Fanatics, it'sa-me The Mario AR-Cade; bringing you Mario based news once again. Miss me? Course you did. anyways, let'sa go!!

Android officially says that Super Mario Run is coming in three days, which means it will be out on 3/23/17 on the West Coast (probably everywhere). With three days left to go Nintendo is tweeting (as shown below) that new Yoshi colors will be added to the game on it's Android release date, while we actually hope for new characters rather than just new skins, this is better than nothing. So be expecting this on March 23rd. I've read that there is a new level that you get in the free edition of the game now, also, but I can't confirm this. Here's the link to that info.

In other news, Nintendo's Press room announced for Mar10 Day (March 10th) that they replaced gowns of  Starlight children's Foundation with bright and colorful Mario character covered gowns. Not only is this very sweet, but it may be inspiring hope in their lives with some of their favorite characters in their time of need.

To celebrate MAR10 Day, Nintendo encourages people of all ages to enjoy a host of heartfelt and joyous activities to honor one of the most iconic video game characters of all time (and one who has kept overalls in style for more than 30 years).

To kick off the celebration, Nintendo is working with Starlight Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that brightens the lives of seriously ill children by providing hospitalized kids with entertainment, education and innovative technology. Nintendo will be providing new designs for the foundation’s Starlight Brave Gowns, which help sick kids feel like superstars by replacing unattractive, uncomfortable and embarrassing hospital garments with comfortable and brightly colored gowns. Mario Maker at The Library

Nintendo did something nice again.

Nintendo went to the Los Angeles Public Library with Super Mario Maker for 3DS. Letting kids work together to make unique courses. And show off what Mario Maker For 3DS could do.

“With the recent national push for more STEM programs for children in schools, partnering with City Dads Group and the Los Angeles Public Library was a great opportunity to highlight the level-design capabilities of Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “This exciting event helped introduce a new playtime activity for the digital era that families can enjoy together.”
“City Dads Group was fortunate to collaborate with an amazing brand like Nintendo to host a game design workshop in the L.A. Public Library,” said Lance Somerfeld, co-founder, City Dads Group. “The interactive event immersed dads and their little ones in winning experiences that are fun for the whole family.”
The “Build, Play, Share” workshop invited people of all ages to the Los Angeles Public Library’s Central Library in downtown L.A. to work in teams to conceptualize and build their own courses in Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS. Game-design experts from Nintendo were on hand to lend their expertise to attendees, while also providing tips and sparking course-building ideas. Odd: SNES Plays Super Mario 64

Hey Fellow Mario Fanatics. I'm still unable to explain this.. But a speed running robot was able to be used to hack a Super Nintendo and cheat/speed-run Super Mario 64. A game that shouldn't even be able to play on a Super Nintendo console. This is an incredibly odd thing to find.

TASBot (the Tool-Assisted Speedrun Robot) performs literally superhuman feats on classic consoles simply by sending data through the controller ports thousands of times per second.~(SOURCE2)

This is probably known by most already, Fred Seibert (the man who's practically responsible for My Life as a Teenage Robot and many other cartoon classics) has claimed that his studio has a project going on right now, featuring one of the most world famous video game characters over the past thirty years. Who just two years ago (now) had their thirtieth anniversary? Super Mario. Here's our [SOURCE] on the matter, The Nickelodeon Animation Podcast. Now remember, the Television/film industry that Super Mario hasn't been totally well represented, however We've come a long way since those days. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't get too excited in case Nick doesn't make this the way we want it to be made, often that's the way it goes. Besides, we can't truly be certian that Mario is the subject of this new cartoon.. Still, it seems likely, to be honest.

Hey Fellow Mario Fanatics! Apparently people have been making Super Mario Run knock offs for Android devices. Eventually we'll get the game. But not right now. Right now, people are making games for android that slightly, almost, kind of resemble Super Mario Run if they were from an ugly alternate universe. News sites have been claiming these are to be stayed far away from, they're containing malware and could be potentially dangerous for you and your device. Beware these apps. Avoid at all costs. Mario brings Big Surprises on Flight #2482

As they cruised past 10,000 feet in the air, the voice of Nintendo’s iconic Mario announced a big early-holiday surprise for all the passengers. Quickly all were presented with a free New Nintendo 3DS XL system to take home, along with a voucher to download the recently launched Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS game for free from Nintendo eShop.

So these guys have been making Mario videos for a while now.. Their newest one is a parkour video featuring Mario rescuing Peach like he does his thing in Super Mario Run. Take a look:

You can tell that the guys here really put a lot of time into this. It's very well made. It's also sort of an odd way to go about it. Creepy that the Shy Guys come up in a vehicle and abduct the Princess like that. A bit modern and realistic, which is unlike the Mario universe. Anyway, this was a good vid.

Super Mario Run hits 50 Million Downloads

Hey fellow Mario Fanatics! Super Mario Run seems to be running onto IOS devices around the world at a rapid speed..

In a mere four days, Super Mario Run has surpassed the record of downloads that Pokémon Go got, getting forty million downloads. Now they're up to fifty million downloads  Some may say those were the people hoping to get the game for free and then deleting it, but it seems most likely that these are the numbers of all the paid downloads of the app/game.

Not sure if this is still going on, but with this in mind.. My Nintendo (the eShop over-all) is celebrating the launch of Super Mario Run with discounts on select games

Hey Fellow Mario Fanatics it's me again, The Mario AR-Cade. Bringing strange news. This video was found on SFGate.com, the only thing that's said about it is the following:

"Dan Jackson recorded this video of someone playing Super Mario Bros on the side of a building in the Lower Haight."

I dunno this Dan Jackson is.. Or who this mysterious gamer is. But I do know that this guy knows how to play video games the right way, BIG. And That stranger has a bad cough. That's pretty much it, very awkward bit of news today. Remember; Mario-Time All the Time!

Anyways, Nintendo seems to be expanding on their past where the brought Super Mario 3D World into real life in New York, and the rumors were true it's all gonna happen at Universal Parks Orlando and in Japan. Mario Sunshine is Unreal!!

Hey Fellow Mario Fanatics,

In Unreal Engine 4, YouTuber CryZENx has remade some ellements of Super Mario Sunshine. You can tell they weren't entirely done yet, as some of the actions don't have reactions. Like spraying a Pinata won't make it shake the water off and get all mad. But the overall (Mario pun) look of the remake, is incredible. This video was published on November 20th.
